SAFe Advanced Scrum Master

Course Description

This training prepares you as a Scrum Master for your leadership role in driving agile teams, programs, and business success in a SAFe® implementation. You will learn how to foster cross-team interactions that support and continuously improve program execution. The training extends the Scrum paradigm with

• An introduction to scalable engineering and DevOps practices.
• the use of Kanban to promote the flow of value
• Supporting interactions with architects, product management, and other critical stakeholders in larger program and enterprise contexts.

You will also learn practical tools and methods to build high performing teams and address agile and Scrum anti-patterns in the organization.

SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master is a certification course of the Scaled Agile, Inc. company and we provide it according to valid licence agreements. Please have a look on a course trailer provided by the Scaled Agile, Inc.

• Prospective SAFe® Release Train Engineers

Everyone is invited to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, having one or more of the following certifications is highly recommended for those who aim to take the SAFe® 5.1 Advanced Scrum Master certification exam:

• SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) certification
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification

Online Course Organization

The course is facilitated by a SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.

The course is interactive, combining official SAFe® training materials, practical exercises and sharing the practical experiences of the trainer with implementation of SAFe® principles in large companies operating in the Czech Republic.

A day before the course we organize later in the afternoon from 17:15 to 18:00 an optional introduction session for all the participants, where we explain the virtual environment we will use during the course and how to behave in it.

Certification

Optionally you can purchase together with the course a possibility to pass a certification exam. This possibility includes:

• one cost free attempt to pass the SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master certification exam within 30 calendar days from the course attendance
• one year membership for SAFE® Studio (former SAFe® Community Platform) with a lot of education resources and community forum for people who are interested in implementation of agile principles in large companies
• up to 15 PDU (PMI education requirements needed to prolongue PMP andPgMP certifications) and up to 15 SEU (Scrum Alliance C category education requirements for renewal of the CSP certification)
